I really am.
There's no nice way of saying this.
I am an idiot.
Why?
Because I do silly things.
My best friend also happens to be my editor.
Nicole is pretty damn good.
She knows her stuff.
She had The White absolutely PERFECT.
Then I ruined it.
Here's what happened.
The White was finished the editing stage. It was time to typeset it and send it off to print. I did something bad.
I decided whilst The White was in the printing program that I was going to make a few changes. This shouldn't have been a problem except I am terrible at punctuation, grammar and spelling.
So when I went through The White whilst it was imported into this program and made changes I also left behind a bunch of errors.
Then I didn't have Nicole check over it.
I sent 250 copies to print.
OOPS.
LIKE MAJOR OOPS.
I will NEVER EVER EVER EVER AGAIN make changes whilst looking at my book in a program where the font size cannot be enlarged past size 8!!!!
My editor Nicole will be the last person to touch my future work.
It is a vow.
So, if you're one of the people who purchased a copy of The White whilst I was still selling the first 250 copies you are now the proud owner of a bunch of errors.
Sorry.
I won't do it again.
